  • How do I use a battery to charge my device?
    Press the button on the bottom of the battery to turn it on. Select the correct cable for your device (iOS Lightning, Micro USB or USB-c). Slide the cable down and it will pop out of the battery case - Plug the connector into your device. When the battery is on, the 4 LEDs on the back indicate the battery's charge level. When one LED is lit up, or your device stops charging, return the battery to the nearest kiosk. If you need more charge simply check out another battery!
  • How do I return a battery?
    Locate any nearby kiosk using the "nearby kiosk" button on the home screen Select the kiosk that you'd like to visit and navigate to the location Insert the battery into any empty slot on the kiosk (be gentle) You should see (and hear) a confirmation on the kiosk's screen
  • How do I check out a battery?
    Make sure you've added a credit or debit card in your wallet. Tap the "Scan QR Code" button on the home screen. Scan the QR code in the bottom left corner of the kiosk screen. Confirm checkout on the next screen within the app - The kiosk will dispense a battery that can be used for up to 24 hours.

  • How do I locate a kiosk near me?
    That's easy! From the home screen select the "Nearby Kiosk" button in the upper right hand corner for a list of kiosks closest to your current location The Home Screen map can also be used to find the nearest or most convenient kiosk Kiosks are represented by a black "BX" icon on the map Tap on a kiosk icon from the map to to view information about that location, including the name of the business where the kiosk is located, business hours, the location's address and the number of batteries available for use. Additionally, you'll be able to see the number of empty slots available for you to return a battery at that kiosk
  • Why do I have to provide a credit or debit card for a free service?
    BatteryXchange has partnered with businesses to provide you with complimentary mobile charging. Users are expected to return the portable battery once they're finished charging their device. A credit or debit card is kept on file to prevent any theft and/or damages during the rental process.
  • How to delete my account
    The option to delete your account can be found under your profile settings. To find the account deletion option navigate to MENU > PROFILE IMAGE > DELETE ACCOUNT > CONFIRM DELETION Upon deletion of your account your personal details such as: email, nickname, & payment information will be deleted.   • How do I raise a ticket?
    Navigate to the More section in the mobile view or web view. Select Support from the options. Complete the form by filling in all required details. Click Submit to send your ticket.
